We live on a planet that offers an extraordinary diversity of landscapes. Not to enjoy it is a crime. No matter the way, hike, climb or fly, the mountains around us deserve our full attention. This is also why we must take care to allow as many people as possible to enjoy it in the future.

I divide my life between guiding work across the entire Alpine range, training and expeditions to chase vertical dreams of climbing walls in the most remote and beautiful places in the world. I am passionate about climbing in all its forms: sometimes repeating iconic routes in the history of mountaineering and climbing; sometimes instead leaving my signature on new itineraries such as: via Kalypso on the Sato Pyramide in Nepal; via Gold Rush in the Kichatna Spiers in Alaska

I practice assiduously steep skiing combining the passions to which I have dedicated my life, climbing and skiing. To the detriment of "instagrammable" fashions, while not disdaining "powder", I prefer refined lines with little safe and hard snow so that I can express myself at my best: jumping from one edge to another skiing the line I wanted at that moment .

My main passion has always been to undertake paths unknown to me in any field, from the mountains to engineering. In fact, this passion led me to become first an aerospace engineer and then a mountain guide. I work in both areas but what gratifies me most is the activity of Alpine Guide and mainly that of Mountaineering Master, looking for the best way to teach what I learned during my mountaineering activity.

I like to merge my self with nature, bivouac on a ledge halfway up the wall, observe a deer running in a snowy forest, melt snow outside the tent in the middle of the glacier or warm up by the fire under a starry sky that only the desert can offer. Mountaineering is a perfect excuse to travel within myself and towards my limits, explore distant places and meet the other.

I liked them! Compared to the socks I was used to the great quality immediately catches the eye.
Instantly when I put them on the first time I had a pleasant sensation of softness, they did not irritate the skin at all .... I use them mainly in ski boots, and the Skimo socks are fine for spring, while on particularly cold days at the end of the winter I used the Mountaineering socks, which I found perfect in terms of temperature. also the Trekking socks that I used several times during approaches to some routes were very good ...

..I can only confirm the very high quality of the Elbec stockings that underlie the company's work and policy.    During this year I could appreciate first the very high quality of the socks that I could appreciate in the various climatic conditions, (snow, more or less demanding trails, francigene, ferrate, excursions to the sea, rivers, etc ...) with different temperatures (from the harshest winter, to very hot summer) second the foot was always perfectly dry ! Important to mention the comfort of the fit during the activities, without ever causing chafing and blisters, the excellent resistance to wear even after many washing and of course, the breathability due to the quality of the yarn.

I live in the city but I deeply love the mountains both in winter and in summer and however I experience it, the mountains give me happiness. I have always believed that the best way to fully enjoy it is to experience it in total autonomy and this is this is why in the treks I organize I look for wild and, as far as possible, uncontaminated places to sleep in a tent or to bivouac in the open air …this is my way of being one with it and it is the experience that I try to convey to the people I bring with me.

… They are really super quality, they keep warm, they don't smell. The best thing is the sense of purity and naturalness on the skin. I thought they were more slippery in the boot and instead I had a great time ... they keep the temperature really warm!

I am a freelance photographer, skier, biker and nature lover. I like the nickname "Skibum," eating ice cream, getting lost and occasionally bored. For living, I photograph, teach skiing, and explore trails and places by riding my mtb

Prerogative of my work is the attempt to place on the same level the aesthetic, emotional and naturalistic visions. Photographing a wild animal in the end becomes - after being a patient and friendly challenge to the subject - a burning desire for knowledge and conservation of the fragile and fascinating biodiversity of our planet.

... in Patagonia I tried several models: for approaches and trekking I used trekking light, used for more than 300 km! They are excellent, they isolate well both from the cold and from the heat and have not worn out for anything ... and they do not really stink !!! For ice and mixed climbs I used ice climbing, the mountanering was too hot. Although many hours remain still in the snow and strong winds I have never had cold feet! Excellent!

I spend my time between the Dolomites and the Himalayas, looking for peace and air to relax by climbing both 8000m mountains and unexplored areas trying new peaks and routes. Trying to be as self-sufficient as possible. I discovered in me the passion for photography and movies and I tell my experiences through them, in the hope of transmitting the emotions I feel

I deeply love this work and every time I put my feet out of bed (or often from the sleeping bag) to tie myself up in a rope, start a day of walking or beat the track in fresh snow I consider myself a privilege.

I tpartecipate to create SKY TECH Black sock testing it in Greece with rain the rain and snow. I ran there on the second day for 15 hours until the finish. In the cold and in difficult weather conditions they can keep your feet dry at an optimal temperature. I would say just ok! I also used them in Baja California Mexico, in the second stage, almost 40 ° C and a lot of sand ... Also in this case I found myself really well!

I’m a sedentary nomad. I’m not really attached to performance. I prefer getting by with the skills I have.

The thing that I mostly liked is that you can use them, and reuse them again and still do not stink, they are also warm and soft and are very pleasant to wear, this is definitely a strong point ….

... the socks are great, I have used them more for ice climbing and trekking. I do not have many suggestions to give, on the contrary I find it hard to find things to change, they do not fluff (pilling) and it’s a good thing ... anyway they’re great

My work often leads me to stay for several hours under an icefall, hanging in the shade on the wall, as well as skiing all day with heavy backpacks or hiking long multiple days. I suffer freezing on my feet;  ELBEC mountaineering merino socks are excellent and the natural wool is unbeatable! If you think that merino wool socks cause itching you are wrong, I keep them whole days without problems!I am very satisfied with the Skimo Tech model, I find it comfortable, lighter and suitable for many situations. Warm feet and an ecological heart! Now you can find everything for sports, the mountaineering, the outdoors : socks that are increasingly technical, warmer, lighter, more performing…. but in my opinion what makes the difference between ELBEC and the others is the environmental care, the traceability of your product, the fact that it comes from the wool of animals not mistreated (no Mulesing and Bio Farms), the attention to what we take and how we take it!

I try ELBEC socks both here in the Alps and at high altitude in Karakorum.
