Lightweight low merino wool socks ideal for summer trekking for all those who prefer thin stockings.
The TECH line has greater performance, especially in terms of drying speed and resistance, and is designed for long treks and intensive use: We use a yarn made of 60% merino wool and 40% polycolon with the advantage of increasing the drying speed of the sock which moves moisture away from the outside giving a dry feeling during the activity. Furthermore, this yarn is excellent in preventing overheating due to the friction and making the sock more resistant to wear. Obviously the reinforcements and bearings in pure merino wool and not in polyamide like almost all the socks on the market, will make the difference.
The NATURE Line, on the other hand, is made of 100% extra fine merino wool certified GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard). This certification ensures the origin of the yarn from organic farms that feed their sheep with self-produced bio feeds. The practice of mulesing is prohibited (NO MULESING certification) and the animals are not subjected to treatments with pesticides, thus preventing them from being released in contact with the skin as in the vast majority of merino wool on the market. In addition, the yarn is machine-washable with an innovative EXP treatment that does not use chlorine (chlorine free), considerably reducing the impact on the environment.
These are two similar products but while our lightweight trekking sock TECH has some rivals on the market, the trekking sock of the NATURE line is a product of superior quality that has no equal.
