It is a low graduated compression running sock of class A and very adherent to the foot.
Breathability is guaranteed by the use of a yarn that wicks moisture outwards.
This is the key feature of this innovative yarn which is extremely suitable for aerobic activities such as running and trial.
Obviously, as for all ELBEC socks, we use extremely fine and precious extra-fine quality merino wool with a yarn that varies between 18 and 21 microns in diameter.
The degrees of compression on the foot, obtained through the variation of the weft tension of the merino yarn, are three:
Minimum compression occurs on the toe to not reduce the circulation of the fingers and in the lower part of the fit in correspondence with the anti-abrasion reinforcements and pads to cushion shocks.
Medium compression occurs in the lightest part of the sock on the instep and ankle.
Maximum compression occurs in the central part of the foot at the arch of the foot.
The Sky TECH Black is a preconditioned sock that you can wear immediately without any type of treatment and that will not shrink during its lifespan.
In the first uses after the run it may release some merino pilling which disappears after the first washes. This means that our sponge is made of wool and not polyamide!
