Fisherman's Beanie, knitted by hand or with manual handling machines, strictly with yarns of extra fine merino wool certified no mulesing and organic (Global Organic Textile Standard) or Italian wool from Abruzzo. The merino comes from organic farms in New Zealand or from extensive Italian farms and is dyed and conditioned in Italy with natural dyes without the use of chlorine derivatives.

Our hats are hand crocheted and knitted with ORGANIC (Global Organic Textile Standard) and I.C.E.A (Institute for Ethical and Environmental Certifications) certified BIO-logic merino wool. These certifications ensure that stringent environmental standards are met throughout the transformation process. The wool has not been treated with pesticides and no toxic substances are present on the yarn. All yarns are strictly No Mulesing certified, ensuring maximum respect for the animals that supply the raw material. Spinning and dyeing are carried out in Italy with natural and chlorine-free products to further reduce environmental impacts.
In addition to organic merino wool, we also use Italian Merino or Merinized wool to make our benies. Our italian wool comes from extensive Italian farms, shorn, carded and spun in Italy, dyed as well in Italy. All our products are shipped in eco-sustainable and compostable packaging that comes from recyclable materials.
