Merino wool is also breathable and dries very quickly without ever giving that unpleasant sensation of cold when sweat evaporates. Excellent for the cold, merino wool is also exceptional in the heat thanks to its thermoregulatory characteristics.
Excellent for all winter outdoor activities merinos it is now in great demand also in the nautical environment but above all as a first layer under neoprene wetsuits for diving to protect the skin.
In fact, the great characteristic of wool is that when it gets wet it does not lose its thermal properties!
All our underwear is 100% pure merino wool without any other components. These are loose-fitting and relatively low-stretch shirts to be used as a first layer. Excellent in winter but thanks to the properties of wool they are exceptionally functional in summer too and above all... they never stink!
It is very important that the yarns that come into contact with your skin do not contain harmful and/or toxic substances that can be released during sweating which wets the fibres. This is why we are very attentive to the certifications of our yarns and everything that will come into contact with your skin.
Our merino is purchased in New Zealand and is ZQfiber certified certifying the sustainability of the production chain and the animal-friendly breeding conditions of the merino sheep that produce this excellent extra fine wool.
